we had tech support company to install windows 10 in aug. 16. we had wireless internet connection at that time. in the last week of Sept 16 they computer did an automatic update and we lost the wireless connection. we took it back to the store to have them fix it, but was advised that they couldn't resolve the issue after 4 days. we took the cu home and tried to do a restore on the computer after reading some of the postings for this problem. now the computer is doing a loop in the restore and its going on 3 hours. is there a way to stop the restore without losing anything?

Did you start the Restore from external media? If so, remove it when it reboots.

If not, try to interrupt the reboots with some type of key combination or shutting the system down.

Many folks are having problems with Win 10 and loosing their systems. Even OEMs can't come up with a positive way to solve the problems. So, a Hail Mary may be in the cards....

Remove external devices, if possible disable the Bluetooth in your Bios..
