Windows 10 Version 14936 will not install in my laptop

When I try to install the latest update on my laptop, it will not install. I posted the problem and the error message on Bing and wa directed to a seller who wanted money to correct the problem. That does not seem quite fair. Any comments or has anyone else encountered the same problem?

14936 is the latest fast ring insider preview and not actually an "update" as it would generally be understood to Windows 10, so......
Given that..... are you intentionally attempting to install 14936 as a participant in the Insider Program?

I trying to set it up right now on this Sony Vaio VGN-FW373J laptop I have. I just set up the insider for "Release Preview".....so far there is nothing in the MS updates.

Nope..... right now the "Release Preview" ring is the same as the general availability 14393.222 that everyone should have by now.
I don't think on that ring you will see anything from Redstone 2. (149xx.xxxx).
I'm pretty sure that, that ring get's the normal cumulative updates, slightly ahead of everyone else and that's about all you're likely to see on that ring until Redstone 2 gets a lot closer to release.

By that I take you to mean that you are intentionally attempting to install the latest insider preview.
What version of Windows 10 are you currently running?
I've managed to install it in two separate instances. One on a physical machine the second in a VM. In both cases as an upgrade from Windows Update within the previous Insider Preview version.
