Windows Backup

I suspect this is a known problem but since updating from Win 7 to Win 10 I have lost the Backup function. When trying to do the initial setup I get right to the last setup page but then get the message, "The task object version is either unsupported or invalid (0x80041313) . Surely there must be a solution to this! The backup function when running Win 7 was fine.

To be safe, I would back up your Registry and create a restore point before attempting any registry changes

You may try some third-party backup application. In addition to paid applications, there are a several good free ones. For a long time I used only EaseUS todo backup free to backup.
