Windows Edge won't transition from Iphone to Desktop

Following icon on IPhone fails to open on Desktop. Phone screen say's:
'Desktop-9CASSK5' > 'Choose s PC to open this now' > 'Sending to desktop-9CASSK5' > 'Failed to send to your PC' > 'Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later' Any ideas and thanks.

My Iphone 7 has no app to cast to a desktop. To a printer, yes. But that is it.
