Just like Microsoft has given free update to windows 10.
They should now give all the people who has windows 10 an free update to instal win 7 / 8 / 8.1

I have windows 10 for free and i though wow Microsoft is very nice to give windows 10 for free.

But its BROKEN!

I havent had a chance to put it back to my previous version windows 7, becouse i could not start my laptop for a whole month or longer.

I want my windows 7 back and i will not gonne buy a win7 installation becouse MICROSOFT HAS GIVEN BROKEN WINDOWS 10 FOR FREE !!!.

My problems with windows 10:

Cant start my laptop without blue screen and if it start its gonne freeze. It will take me over an hour to try start my laptop by forcing it off by holding the on/off button. (Bad for my laptop)

I keep having internet connection, every 5 mins it goes off and on again.

Laptop is very laggy and very slow, some programs i can not use becouse of that.

But the main reason is not getting windows to start.

Why do you think you can't go back? There is nothing stopping you from reverting unless you lost your previous license. And in that case your upgrade would then be invalid.

ChaneIM,
I understand your anguish of upgrading to an operating system that does not work.

However, it is not Microsoft's fault that you are not able to revert back to your original operating system.
You had not done enough "home work" before you jumped in to Windows 10.
Had you done your "home work" such as reading relevant articles and asking questions in forums such as this, you would be advised to make a Recovery or Installation media first before installing Windows 10.

If you cool down a bit and tell us which operating system you want to go back to, maybe, just maybe, we can help.

Hi. Yes it was a rage. When i wrote that i was trying to restart my laptop for 2 hours. Pretty frustrating.

I know that there are a lot of people whos win10 is working great. My brother also has the update win 10 installed and he doesnt have any problems with is. Im glad that many have no problems at all. Although i wish i could say the same thing.

I didnt research because i thought that i wouldnt bring any problem. I did look into windows website but nothing of intressed.

I do remember i did try startup repair. But it couldnt be done because of someting from trail.txt. cant remember what it was and get a lot of bluescreen with machine_exceptation_check (someting like this, not sure)

I did got my laptop on but because i tryed the startup repair again i can start up now. But before i did that i checked if i could find the windows.old file (read something about it) and also tryed to look if i have any back up files. But unfortunly i could not find anything. I also look if i had any backup from win 7. But it is not showing anything.

I had windows 7 home premium. I got the laptop a year ago. No cd's or anything.

Windows.old file can be found if you click open the C drive, your local drive. But it could have delete automatically if it was there more than 30 days ago.

I did got my laptop on but because i tryed the startup repair again i can start up now

If you can start your computer now, then try this........
click at Start button > left side, click Settings > click Update & Recovery > left side, click Recovery > do you see an option " Go back to Windows 7 " ?
If yes, click the Get started button.

However, if you upgraded Win 10 more than 30 days ago, you will NOT see the Go Back......" option.

If you can't roll it back to Windows 7, there should be a recovery partition on your PC if it didn't come with any cd/dvd's. It's usually one of the "F" keys during boot. Could be any of them. Google your specific model. Or post your laptops model, and one of us can look it up.

ChaneIM,
read this excerpt from an article posted by a Community Moderator.
He wrote a long Wiki Article regarding what you need to know about Windows 10.
If you have time, you can read the whole article by clicking at this link........
Frequently Asked Questions: Windows 10

excerpt :
What happens to the recovery partition used by my previous version of Windows?
It will become inoperable. That is why it is strongly advised you backup before upgrading.

I would like to say some thing about , if don't mind . There are some VERRY Smat PEOPLE WORKING for MICROSOFT, and they should get paid for THER WORK . I helped in WINDOWS 8 for more then 8 months + time after to get mail straight. I Bought 4 copy's of 8 . Three were pretty straight . The last one was a HP DV7-4169 Etertanment. It took some time. First had to update BIOUS , gutting most of the extra Iteams ,time Fences , sidebars , finger reader , and what they told me that had to go . Then I loaded Win 8 on & I got it running. It worked Great . I had contacted HP ON This , had several E-MAIL back & forth To HP. I had the first Hp with win 8 on , they were geared up & making HP WIN 8 computers , to the point MICROSOFT SHOULD GET PAID FOR WIN 7 & 8 , and they gave us 8.1 .I am not employe of MICROSOFT, OR WORKED FOR . I do own a small company , & I build High End AMD computers .
