Have Samsung galaxy 4 and linx1010. Previously linx tethered perfectly to phone. After update it looks OK but when trying to connect comes back with can not connect to this network. Tried data carrier but they just took me through everything I had already done - it's clearly associated with update any suggestions please? Thanks

Sorry to say that I don't have any experience in using an Android device as a hotspot, which I assume is what we're talikng about here when you mention tethering, but....
IS there a means whereby you can stop and then remove that network from both devices and then reconstruct them from scratch.
In my experience when I've had trouble in the past with connecting devices, I've found that completely blowing them away (the connections, not the devices) and re-doing them sometimes helps.
