I installed W10 this morning and so far everything is working well EXCEPT for my 2nd monitor. It will not recognize it. I can't live without my 2nd monitor..lol.

Anybody else have this issue?

Thanks
Loopy

System specs?
Specifically GPU and its' associated driver information?
Have you performed your Windows Updates fully / manually?

Not sure how much info you might need but here goes. Windows 8.1 upgraded to 10. Have used dual monitors for a very long time with no problems. I'm not too tech savvy but I try my best.

It is saying Microsoft Basic but it has been Nvidia since I bought the laptop or is that 2 separate things? Would W10 have changed that?

Click start / Windows Logo bottom left corner of screen, choose settings from the start menu and then Update & Security and check for windows updates

Yes Trouble all windows updates are completed but still no luck. Clifford I also went to that link you gave me but it said I needed to update my Java which I did then I tried again and it gives me that same message every time. :(

Maybe I should just run my backup and go back to Windows 8.1 for now.

You will need to close the browser and open it again for the changes to take effect.

Use device manager to discover the actual properties of your Video Card.
Open device manager, expand display adapters, right click your display adapter and choose properties details tab and change the dropdown arrow to Hardware Ids and post the contents of the value box. Should look something like this. Not exactly the same as this is my network adapter.

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_E0001458&REV_03
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_E0001458

Thanks for all your help guys. I decided to roll back to 8.1(which was really easy once I found out how). Will wait until the bugs are gone from W10 then try again. Sorry for wasting your time.
