Asus Xonar DSX Audio

Hi all, I have a ASUS Xonar DSX Audio sound card in my Win 10 PC. Oddly recently the balance resets itself randomly switching the left speaker off.

Ive tried to find an upto driver unsuccessfully.

Any suggestions please?

all I can find is driver version 8.1.8.1823 from 2015, is that what you have?.

Tried it, reinstalled it which was troublesome. I wonder if my malwarebytes premium is interfering with its install.
