Has anyone at all been successful at getting Windows 10 Cast To Device to actually work??
I'm using Chromecast with my Android tablet as well as Chrome on my laptop with no issues but you would think a right click cast to device would achieve the same thing, not so at all.
It's really no big issue as I can simply do it through Chrome, but like I've always said..if it's there it should work..
Am I missing a top secret setting buried deep in the bowels of Windows?..or am I simply S.O.L?

I used it to cast movies to a Samsung TV. And had lots of problems using Wifi. Any loss of connection and it stops working. Once it stops working it is a pain in the ass to get working again. I've literally had to reboot both TV and PC to get a connection again.

It works pretty good on an Ethernet connection.

I've never dealt with Chromecast.

Thanks for the info Clifford, I surmised as much...I'm using an LG TV with Chromecast so I guess I'm sticking with Chrome.
Chromecast works flawlessly and have never had an issue with dropouts or video quality.. happy camper.
