Default owner for c:\windows\temp

Windows 10 64-bit

I have been trying (without a lot of success) to resolve a problem with my scanner (Fujitsu S1500) and its software, that appears to be related to directory security properties (ownership). While working with the phone support person, I changed the security settings on the C:\windows\temp directory.

Can anyone advise the default or "correct" owner for this directory?

Thanks in advance for any help...

Hi Ben,

Welcome to the Forum.

The owner of C:\Windows\Temp is SYSTEM and you may also have a Creator Owner with full control too.
