Drive E issues

My laptop will read drive e discs but will not open it. I keep getting ejected. Need help

So..... can we assume that your "Drive E" is an optical drive??
Laptop or Desktop computer?
Process you are employing to open the disc?
Contents of disk?
Source of the disk?
Does it happen with all disks, music, photos, retail products such as software?

Yes it does

At first thought, it sounds like the head is no longer reading the disks. Is it an old optical drive, any guarantee..etc.
