SOLVED file explorer not responding in one account but not another

Hi
My daughter has two accounts on her surface laptop 2 - one personal and one for work. Her personal account is also the administrator account. File explorer works fine in her personal account. When she tries to open file explorer in her work account it opens and says "working on it". Then when she clicks in the file explorer window "not responding" appears, the window fades, and the loading spinning wheel goes on and on (not sure of its proper name). And it stays like that until she closes the window. We have tried fixes for file explorer not responding, but none worked. The fixes also appear to be for a general problem with file explorer not working, rather than it working on one account but not another. Can anyone help?

Is File Explorer trying to open to files on the same drive/partition as in her Personal account or to a different drive such as a company location/Server?

Is she fully logging out of her account before logging into her work account? Could be her work account profile has become corrupted.

She was logging out completely. I looks like her work account profile had become corrupted - she created a new profile and it all works well (not sure why we didn't think of that in the first place). Thanks for your help, really appreciated.
