Hi I am using Windows 10 version 1155 Build 10586.36 64 bit edition on my Dell Vostro 3750. It has been working ok on the whole since upgrading to Windos 10 but the last few weeks when I click on this computer icon I can see a ghost Drive.

When I look in Device Manager it is listed as a Generic Multi Card usb I can delete it in the device manager but then next time I boot it is back
How can I stop this please?

Isn't what you're seeing the 8 in 1 card reader?

Yah..... I wonder why the "Hide empty drives" thingy doesn't work anymore (and hasn't for a while).

Make sure to include attached devices, such as printers, in what might be holding the drive.

Some card readers can become troubled if the media is ejected incorrectly. You might check Device Manager for any USB Hubs whose Properties windows has an Advanced tab. If it does you may be able to Reset the Hub and restore normal function.

My system has a built-in card reader and it does not show in Explorer if no media is inserted. It does show in Device Manager.
