Hi,

I've been having trouble the last few weeks with Google Chrome. I click to open Chrome and it takes a solid 10-15 minutes before it opens. It works perfectly fine when up and running and there's no issues with speed once it's opened.

If anyone could help that would be great!

Thanks
J

It may have something to do with "extensions" try launching Chrome with extensions disabled
Code:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --disable-extensions
by editing the "Target" text box to include a space and then --disable-extensions at the end of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

I am also having this problem, just in the last few days. In fact since I downloaded the latest Windows 10 update. Coincidence?

Aha! Me too. I kept getting the notorious "Aw, snap" every time I tried to open a page.

I have ditched Chrome.

Sorted it! Go to settings/update and security/windows update/advanced options/choose how updates are delivered. Turn the slider to OFF. This stops Microsoft using your computer to send updates to other PCs.
