Help with msgames_win8_x64.msi

Hello my friends,

I am trying to restore these games on my mother's computer. Despite saving the Win7GamesforWin8-setup.exe file (from winaero.com, I guess), now it asks me for a msgames_win8_x64.msi which I don't seem to have.

Does anybody know where I can download this file? I saw a link in this forum, but it seems to be down.

I remember this...some time ago a new release wiped that .MSI file and the .exe need something in there. Once that is restored it stays forever.

Yes, I have searched all those links. None of them have a working link to msgames_win8_x64.msi which is being required to install the file.

Someone posted a link in here for the file, but it isn't working anymore.

have you checked any of the game disks for the file?, it may well be tucked away in a folder as an .exe file on one of the game disks?.

Game disks? You mean windows original disks?

Yes, but I didn't see any .msi file inside the DVD I have.

What I meant is, do you have any other game disks that might have the missing file on it!. I should have expressed myself better sorry.

I did a search on the update catalogue but found nothing related!.
