I'm confused. I downloaded the Windows 10 upgrade today, getting used to its operation. But, I am trying to locate how to create a disc, in the event that one day i may have to do a clean install. Do I have to do a complete upgrade again, or is there a site I can access that describes how to create an install disc after it has been upgraded?

I use Macrium to image or clone my discs, but that was not really what I had in mind.
On one of the forums a while back there was information on how to make a copy ot Win 10 to a CD or flash drive to later do a clean install, if needed.

The installation media can be obtained through either of these two resources.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench
OR
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Once you have the ISO, you can use ImgBurn to burn it to a DVD or Rufus to burn it to a USB ThumbDrive, either of which you can use to boot your computer.
From there you should be able to
later do a clean install, if needed.

I recently used the Windows 10 reset option because I was selling the machine and I wanted to erase my user data and change the ownership name, I chose to remove all files option and I must say it takes longer than a clean install and I probably will do a clean install next time.
I am curious that if I chose the option to keep my files would I be able to change administrator / machine ownership?

Someone gave u the link to Microsofts Installation media. Download it, its a small file, few megabytes size and it will ask u if u want to install Windows 10 on this PC or download an .Iso to use on another PC. Choose download for 'another PC' option. Then u just choose which Windows u want, Home or Pro, and 32/64 bit and language etc. It also ask's u if u want to burn to DVD or just save the .Iso on the PC. What u are looking for is the 'save on DVD' option. Either way both are good cuz if u get the .Iso file, it is very easy to burn that image to a DVD using Rufus, Windows_7_download_Tool etc.
The size of the .Iso or Dvd is around 3.5Gb's so make sure your connected to ur Ethernet/Wifi and not mobile data.

I'd like install a new HDD in my Win7 OEM PC at the same time as doing a clean install of Window 10. Would the installation media approach work OK in these circumstances?
