SOLVED If I download from Microsoft will I still get Windows 10 Professional upgrade

I've been sitting here watching the darn working on it spin forever. If I download direct from Microsoft, will it go faster? Also will I still get the Windows 10 Professional upgrade, since I am currently using Windows 7 Professional?

If you're talking about the Media Creation Tool, then yes, you will, as long as you have reserved a copy and you're currently running a genuine copy of Windows 7 Professional.

I'm still supposedly waiting for my Upgrade, but have been on Windows 10 since July 29th, thanks to the Media Creation Tool

Be sure to Upgrade first. If you want to do a Clean Install, retrieve your system key using the tool of your choice and then complete the Clean Install. Ensure you're activated, first!
