On Windows 10 I'm able to just drag the shortcut from the START menu onto the desktop to copy a link.

Hey, is this possible when you use the Start Screen style on Windows 10 (like I do) or is there an alternative method? Thanks.

I wasn't able to do that. I think you'll first have to turn off the option for "Use Start full screen" and then drag & drop from the START menu to the desktop. Then you can turn the option back on.
