Just considering downloading windows 10

Hi, I've downloaded the files but haven't done the upgrade yet. I'm currently using Windows 7. I'm not an expert on computer stuff so I'll need lots of guidance. I decided this was the best place to get it. I'll be posting from time to time with my queries as they arise. I hope you'll all be patient with me.
