I thought it may be useful to mention how helpful "Ninite" is (https://ninite.com/) - if you're doing a clean install it's an invaluable tool to get common apps all installed in one go

I often use it to get Chome/7zip/VLC and other essentials installed. I didn't know about it until a couple of years ago, so I hope it's a useful heads up to another reader!
