No audio in game mode of monitor

I I reciently upraded to window 10. I no longer hace sound in the game mode of the monitor. I have my verizon FIOS TV plugged into the HDMI port of the monitor so I can watch TV and switch back and forth from PC mode and game
mode(TV). I rolled back windows 10 to my previous version Windows 7 pro. The sound returned after the rollback to windows 7. Is there a fix for this problem in Windows 10?
