One Drive synch issue

We have two laptops and use One Drive to store files. The list of docs shown is different on each computer - so we are unable to retrieve files if we are using the wrong laptop - suggestions please

Hello and welcome to the forum.
One Drive is account specific not computer specific.
Are you using the same logon account and password on both computers?

OK What is the solution here - we do not have pw protected computers - do we need to sign in on Microsoft or One Drive?

Yes...as Trouble stated, they are account specific. Each MS account has it's own "Onedrive" storage. The Syncing; is for syncing all devices using that same account so you have access to the Onedrive storage on any device. I
