SOLVED Photos "next" and "previous" buttons don't work?

When I open a photo from my files, the "next" and "previous" buttons (in the small black box at the bottom of the screen) do not work. When I click on one of the buttons the photo closes and the screen returns to the original photo file. The same happens when I click on the "add to album" button. The trash button works fine. Is there a setting to fix this?

Welcome to the Forum.


If you click on Start > Settings cog > Apps you can scroll down and located Photos

• Left-click once on Photos then click the hyperlinked Advanced and now click the Reset button
• Now open the Photos app and allow it a moment to refresh

All going well, you ought to be able to use those arrows, and Album options again.

If not let us know and I'll walk you through how to remove the app and re-install it from the Store.​
