Problem with Edge not saving "continue where you left off" websites

I am having problems with Edge keeping my "continue where you left off" websites that I worked on the prior day. It keeps deleting them after a couple days. What am I doing wrong and why does Edge keep deleting them? I see these pop-up screens that I cannot read and then boom the webpages disappear. What is going on?
