Did you happen to use the GTX.exe icon in the bottom right corner of your screen near the clock to check your system for compatibility issue? "Check PC"?
Continuing from my previous post. Using the image I used before I made a bootable USB stick. Starting from this device the installation proceeded flawlessly. Thus my image was OK but the DVD I burned from it did not work.
