I am not sure if Disk clean is allowed to interfere with Windows defender file, but remember to select system files before starting. You may be aware that Disk clean is becoming redundant and has been replaced with "Storage", in the settings.
But, if it fails, it is quite simple to do it manually.
You need to, in Windows explorer, UNhide the protected operating system files, in the options, so that youcan view the folder, then:
Open
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History\Service
and delete the folder "Service". When you reboot, it will be returned - empty.
