SOLVED removing Windows.old?

What is the best/easiest way of getting rid of the .old folder? It's taking 28Gb of my small SSD and I'd like the space back.

I used Ccleaner. Had to specifically select Windows Old prior to the cleaning operation. Scroll down to Advanced and check "Old Windows Installation". You know the Old Windows will be removed automatically after 30 days. Here is the link to the free version;

The actual folder remains with a small amount of data but the bulk is removed. I think the folder may be removed after the 30 day period if not sooner.

I disable it from starting with Windows as it slows up the process.
