Hi

Is there anyway to get the shared folder icon back in Windows 10? What I mean is in the past if you shared a folder the icon would change to a folder with a hand under it. Is there anyway to do that? At the moment if I forget which folders are shared I have to browse the network and see all the shares. I want it so whenever I use explorer any folders that are shared will show up with the shared icon.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum.
in the past if you shared a folder the icon would change to a folder with a hand under it.
Boy.... don't get me started. One of the things that I missed most from the XP days. I ranted endlessly about it with absolutely no one listening, so.... I finally got over it and went on with life.
Now I just open a command prompt or a powershell console session and type
net share
hit enter
That shows me the Share Name and the path to the resource.
A poor substitute I know, but..... life goes on. :)
Regards
Randy
