Sound distortion and crackle

Toshiba Satellite new.
Have followed sound properties to disable enhancements but no options for this -identify that best product installed and working.
Device manager and uninstall sound-Conexant and intel-uninstalled both and restarted computer.
For a short time the sound is ok but as soon as a message comes from right side of screen the sound is distorted again.

wanted to disable sounds but could not do that.

endlessly following above possibilities according to google page and checked many links

also msn not starting properly- frozen-page not responding. Microsoft check and sometimes works

Fed up with this. Want to return to Windows 8.

Concern re lose data.

Please advise.

What graphics card do you have?.
