PC wants a password, cannot get past this. Any solutions?? At this stage is keeps rebooting

No fresh install. after coffee hit the start button and voila...password needed. Did not have one before

Tried looking at Bios set up, nothing seemed out of place. After the request for password the dialogue box wants a password but after attempts simple keeps rebooting and then displays which keyboard do you want. There is not mouse at this stage either.

How was this accomplished? Was the password always "blank" (no password) or were you using something like "netplwiz" to autologon.

Did you perhaps download an app from the App Store and in doing so create a Microsoft Account in order to complete the download and install?
