Hi Guys,

I currently have an issue where I cannot create new folders on my PC. I can extract things to new folders but I cannot create them. If I right-click or try within windows explorer, nothing happens.

I think it's a security setting I put up at some point but I don't know what. Any Idea how I can return to sanity?

The first thing I suggest in such a situation is to check User Accounts in Control Panel, see what type User is set, either Standard or Administrative rights. A Standard account can't do as many things in the realm of making changes. And whether Microsoft Account or Local Account shouldn't be an issue, can use the same rights. By default the first User at setup of Windows will have Administrative rights.

If nothing helps there is a hidden Administrator that can be activated but for security reasons needs to be deactivated after an issue is resolved.

Thanks for the quick reply,

This regrettably has not changed my situation though
