Unimodem full-duplex audio device

Version 1709 of Windows 10 does not include the Unimodem Full-Duplex Audio Device that is present in Version 1607 (and previous versions as well). This device is required in order to continue use of voicemail/fax reception software on my desktop PC for several years. This causes me to repeatedly recover Version 1607, since Microsoft seems to insist that Version 1709 MUST be automatically installed.

Does anyone have a similar experience and/or a solution to this issue?

Sorry but I am not familiar what that specific device/process. If you are referring to something Fax and Scan, that seems to still show in the apps listing.

Maybe if you could describe where to find the device or what software you are running and if it has any updates, it might help others see the situation.
