Hi systemg33k,

did you restart your computer and try again?. Often the update servers are overloaded and we just have to be patient!.

I would also switch "Allow downloads from other PC's" off unless you want that!. ;)

Have you tried resetting the update components?
Open cmd prompt/powershell with admin & enter:
Net Stop bits
Net Stop wuauserv
Net Stop appidsvc
Net Stop cryptsvc
Ren %systemroot%SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
Ren %systemroot%system32catroot2 catroot2.bak
Net Start bits
Net Start wuauserv
Net Start appidsvc
Net Start cryptsvc
Restart the PC & try updating again.
If this fails/doesn’t correct the problem then click start, run, type regedit & click enter & find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
Try deleting the entries WUServer and WIStatusServer in the right pane if they’re there, if they’re not don’t worry.

I have done this, yes but no luck. The registry key values don't exist.

That’s normal for Windows 10.
How are you connected to the internet - wifi or Ethernet? If wifi try Ethernet.

Also try an in-place repair:
Download the media creation tool, run it & choose to upgrade now.
This will give you 20H2. If you’d prefer not to have this version then let me know which version you have.

I have 20H2 which I upgraded to like you mentioned because of this same issue of WIndows Update not working.

It is quite possible that there are currently no more updates for you as you recently installed the latest version of W10?. ;)
