Right-click on the Computer icon and choose Manage. Once in there, click on Device Manager and see if you can find your Bluetooth Adapter. If it has a yellow triangle showing that there is a problem, try updating the drivers or uninstall it and then have the system scan to redetect it. Then it should download the drivers.
