I have two W10 computers, an Epson XP-6100, and an ATT router on a home network. The computers are (1) W10 Pro version 21H1, Intel Core i5-4430, 64-bit, and (2) W10 Home version 21H1, Intel Core i3-6100, 64 bit. I updated both computers with KB5004237 a few days ago. We do not have much printer activity so it was a day or so before I realized neither computer could send a print job to the printer. I spent most of a day troubleshooting the computers, printer, re-installing the printer, reboots, etc. Nothing worked. Uninstalled KB5004237 from the W10 Pro computer. Print jobs began working immediately. Uninstalled KB5004237 from the W10 Home computer. Print jobs began working on it also.

The MS info for KB5004237 has a Highlights note "Updates an issue that might make printing to certain printers difficult. This issue affects various brands and models, but primarily receipt or label printers that connect using a USB port." Looks like the Epson XP-6100 is one of the various brands and models.

Interesting update - The uninstall activities (see above) took place on July 20th. I also checked the box to "Pause updates for 7 days" on both computers at that time. Even so the W10 Home computer had reinstalled KB5004237 by the 21st. The W10 Pro computer reinstalled KB5004237 by the 22nd. Both on their own. I did not initiate the re-installs.

This time the printer works for both computers!
