Almost impossible to help you without necessary info. Such as.......
Are you running Win 10 Tech Preview now?
or
Are you planning to but you want to backup the computer first ? If so, what os are you now running ? Win 7, Win 8, Win 8.1 ?

Hello Alan and welcome to the forum.
Haven't yet tried it and for my meager two cents worth, I generally prefer a third party option like Acronis or AOEMI Backupper (commercial and free respectively.
But if you go to
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\File History
In the bottom left you'll see "System Image Backup" link

I use EasUS Todo paid backup version on my main machine. I just downloaded and installed their free version on my Win10 preview. It installed without issues, I created an emergency start disk and did a system backup and all went off without a hitch. I have an empty drive on this machine specifically for backups. Backup system file is 8.16GB.
