Windows 10 Initial install - Inoperable PC

Hi all,

I just did my online upgrade to windows 10 last night. It got through the whole process, when I first saw my desktop it flashed my icons for a split second and now it just switches between a black screen and my desktop. I can't click on any of the options in the start menu because my cursor is continually loading. \

I can CTRL-ALT-Delete and select any of the restart options. I have restarted my PC in just about every way possible, but once it reloads it always ends up giving me the same flashing screen and I can't do a thing with my computer.

Any ideas?

So.... does it work OK (no flashing) in Safe Mode?

When i try to start in safe mode i recieve an error which automatically sends an error report and starts windows 10 normally, sending me back to my flashing desktop

I have the same flashing problem. How do you change to the safe mode
