Windows 10 major updates

I have an HP envy with Dre Beats audio. Every time I get a major update, my Dre Beats digital audio always get deleted. Is there a reason why this happens, and is there anything that can be done to prevent it?

depending on what version you have (Home/Pro).
The Pro version can be set up to leave drivers alone via Group policy editor.

Beats Audio was purchased by apple, right? Maybe it is being replaced with a slightly different name.

I don't have the system which had Beats Audio installed for the Powerbeats headsets.. but I will check if that system is operating normally. If for some reason it is nor compatible, it might be removed by some installer.
