Windows Edge

I've still got the Edge icon but clicking on it does not invoke the program or do anything else - how do I get Edge back??

Now there is a half dozen words I thought I would never see.
Right click the Start Button and choose Run and in the Run dialog box type
%windir%\explorer.exe shell:Appsfolder\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe!MicrosoftEdge
hit enter or click OK
Does edge launch when you do it that way?

That didn't work. Resulted in a windows explorer window!
