SOLVED Windows Update

I try to update a Win7 PC to Windows 10.
After a while the update starts searching for updates, this search keep running for hours and hours without any result.
The screen keeps showing 'Searching for updates (0%).
Also the Win7 update on the pc keeps running without any result.
Can somebody help me?

If you intent is to actually upgrade your computer to Windows 10, I would suggest.....
First create a disk image of your system.

And then...
Acquire the installation media
The installation media can be obtained through either of these two resources.

OR
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Once you have the ISO, you can use ImgBurn to burn it to a DVD or Rufus to burn it to a USB ThumbDrive, either of which you can use to run the setup.exe application from within your current running Windows 7 installation to perform the in-place upgrade from the local resource.
