I accidentally updated to windows 10. I had said no so many times and was happy with Windows 7. I must have closed down the laptop and inadvertantly pressed enter and lo and behold I had windows 10. I would persever with it, but constantly logging on is driving me mad. I have looked how to stop this, but I am not the best at IT I use it for work and pleasure I can normally sort out most things, but this one has got me. Anyone got a simple solution that I can do?

Hi Mugger64,

If you have only just upgraded to Windows 10 you get 30 days to return back to your previous operating system.

To do this do the following:
  • Click Start | select Settings ( or press Winkey + I ) to get to the Settings window
  • Click Update & Security
  • In the left pane click on Recovery
  • Click Go back to Windows 7

Regards,
