Adobe reader

Just installed Adobe reader as i need to read some discs i have and it asks for a password which i have not set up.
How can i get it to run if i dont know the password.

You don't really need Adobe in Windows 10. "Edge" is the new default for PDF files.

Thanks but although i have now uninsulated adobe it still keeps trying to open file in adobe.

If the PDFs are on optical media, try copying one to your desktop and see if it will open in either Edge or Adobe.

You could also open settings - System - Default Apps.
Select "Choose default Apps by File type"

Scroll down to PDF and make sure, or change it, to Edge.
