Hi Yolo,

What computer type are you using — notebook, laptop, desktop?

What is your soundcard? What audio drivers are you using for it?
  • Right-click on Start > left-click on Device Manager
  • Expand Sound, video and game controllers

You can see here what you have if you are not sure

If you can reply with the information we ought to be able to sort you out.

Hi yolo,

Try the following:
  • Right-click on Start then left-click on Device Manager
  • In Device Manager. expand Sound, video and game controllers
  • Right-click on Conexant SmartAudio HD and select Update Driver Software
  • In the window that opens click the second option: Browse my computer for driver software
  • A new window will appear. Click the second option here too: Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer

Note: Make sure top half of window has no paths mentioned in the box, and that the check box is blank.

Sample image below to show you what I mean

  • Select Conexant SmartAudio HD and when alert box pops up click Yes
