I've been using it successfully for years.

Fred Langa used to be the editor of Windows magazine. He had recommended it as the best free cleaner, pointing out that it didn't go deep, and therefore would not force you to reformat your computer to undo its mistakes.

 

[Trouble]

True. As long as you leave the defaults alone and don't check any additional boxes unless you know what your are doing, the program is relatively safe.
Although I would still recommend a manual System Restore point just to stay on the safe side.
