SOLVED Hard disk Failed

Cannot boot, tried all the 'reset' options but apparently there is a partition "missing"! Guess I have to replace the hard disk but then what? How do I reinstall Win10? Help!

If you had Windows 10 installed and activated, then re-installing windows 10 is not an issue, you'll just need a second working computer to acquire the installation media.
The installation media can be obtained through either of these two resources.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench
OR
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Once you have the ISO, you can use ImgBurn to burn it to a DVD or Rufus to burn it to a USB ThumbDrive, either of which you can use to boot your computer and install the OS on your replacement hard disk.

Thanks for your help, I now have it up & running with a new SSD! Simon (Oxfordshire UK).

Now maybe you can attach the old hard disk and see if you can recover any of your data from it.
