hard disk of a laptop with windows 10 used as external USB drive to another laptop and it workded but there are some problems that display is poor and shows windows is not activated but in my previous samsung laptop it was activated when i downloaded it freely from Microsoft. Other things are going smoothly till now. Any help about fixing display quality and activation???

I'm marginally amazed that it ever worked at all.
You are not likely to ever be able to activate the installation as it is probably associated with the machine that it was performed on.
You'll minimally have to contact Microsoft..... good luck explaining what you are doing.
I don't believe that it would be considered as being within even the most liberal interpretation of the licensing agreement.
