Any mail that I receive that contains an animated attachment shows as a still i.e. no movement at all. This is not a problem with Outlook mail.
Another problem is the inability to set up a group contact, which is important to me. Again there is no problem with Outlook.

Can anyone help?

Same here, and......
By "Outlook mail" I'm assuming your mean outlook.com the web browser interface.
My local program "Outlook" which is part of the Microsoft Office Suite as well as a standalone software product does no show embedded animated .gifs
I sent myself this one
RollLaugh.gif

I opened it in the Mail app and it's still
I opened it in Outlook the full featured program and it's still.
I opened it in my web browser at outlook.com and it shows just like it does here.
I think that has more to do with the file format than the application. gif (Graphic Interchange Format) was developed and intended to be used on the internet way back in the old CompuServe days

Many thanks for the reply, Trouble. I still think that Windows 10 has been issued in Beta form. Ever tried to print from the calendar?

I wish that I would stop getting messages from Windows 10. I tried it and nothing worked and all my files were unstable. I do not wish to keep being harassed by Microsoft!!! I was able to restore to my older version but with issues caused by the upgrade. Everything now works and I want to be left alone!!!
