Same old story. 17046 downloaded fast but did not work. "Bad Pool" I do not have a pool so how can it be bad? I am back on 16099.15 now. What happened to the slow version? Does not give a choice now.

It took me two times to get it loaded. The first time it tried to install but reverted to the previous version. I have noticed though that those fails are, in my case, caused by an update for the windows defender that was trying to install at the same time. the same issue I detected on my other systems. If one updates the WD first, restarts, then updates to the newer version, it goes smoothly. Should not be that way though but it is...

Microsoft is at an all time high for stupidity. I have set for slow ring now but it ignores it and downloads the same old crap 17046 bringing my computer almost to a halt. Wants me to restart for the 4th time just to see BAD BLOCK HEADER again. How much trouble is it to look at the code changed from 17025 which works to all of the newer versions that do not work and see what code is bad?

Had to reinstall Windows Insider (17025 ISO). Now it won't update to the most recent (17046 I think it is) saying it is "up to date".
Updates are set to FAST Ring and [Active development of Windows] . I am logged in with my Insider Account.
Do I have to wait until 17058 is released?

The reason you cannot update is that Microsoft finally gave up on 17046 and they are making sure the new release works before letting you update. My machine is doing the same as yours. Supposed to have the new update Maybe Monday. We are up to 17062 now. I guess that will be the new update.

Do you have a source for your statement?

Seems to be some trouble in paradise.
I've checked my two reliable resources for the ISO and the latest available is 17025.
Not sure what went on with the availability of anything newer but it seems that, that is the latest that Microsoft is making available through legitimate download sources.
They also seem to be having trouble with their latest offering and "Dona" has stated on her twitter account on the 14th

AND then on the 15th

So I guess it's a wait and see for now.
Maybe next week
OR
Maybe next year.
I haven't seen any official remarks about them actually pulling builds later than 17025.....
I just can't find any reputable download source for anything newer.
