Ethernet LAN

My Ethernet card is ok , activated with no problems, but i can't see the icon of ethernet LAN and i can use ethernet network.

Hi,

If you mean you cannot see the icon on taskbar then:

• Right click taskbar and select Properties
• Next to 'Notifications Area:' click customize
• On the right pane click 'Turn system icons on or off'
• Now just turn the Network on, or if all ready on, turn off, then turn on again to reset

Thanks for your response, but I do a mistake, I don't see the Ethernet network icon ans i can't do a connexion with Ethernet card. In the properties of materials my Ethernet is ok without problem.

Please clarify or post an image of what you are seeing (or perhaps not seeing).
Is it missing from device manager?
Do you have any problem devices in device manager.
Can you share some information regarding your system.
Manufactuer Name, Model Name, Model Number, what ethernet card you have installed???
IF you right click the Start Button and choose Run and in the Run dialog box you type
ncpa.cpl
and hit enter or click OK.....
What do you see.

I have a clone computer with this config :

and here you have the screen of Devices manager :

As you see the controller of card network ethernet run normally.

Now let see you network center and network connections, we have not "Ethernet connection".
that is my problem.

let you see the last screen with connection Ethernet missing.
