Latest update

I just looked at my updates and see that I've had 24 updates today I guess 2/14. But the version is 1803 not 1809. What happened. I have noticed that my laptop is running slower and "sticking" and when I turned it on the other day it was dimmer (a problem I've had before with updates).

Any guesses as to what is happening?

Sounds normal as Version 1803 is still currently supported as in Version 1709. The numbers stand for Year and Month of release.

24 is quite a few.
Usually you'll get a cumulative update for the OS along with a dot net framework update and maybe something for Adobe flash player and the monthly MSRT.
Often you might get a barrage of updates for an older MS Office product as well as Defender, but.....
Since you express some issues with "dimmer", you might want to check your update history, scroll down to the "Driver Updates" area and expand that and see if you got a GPU driver update as part of your "24"
